A BEM formulation for axisymmetric elasticity with arbitrary body force using particular integrals

A particular integral formulation is presented for purely axisymmetric elasticity with arbitrary body force. The axisymmetric elastostatic equation is used for the complementary solution. The particular integrals for displacement and traction are derived by integrating three-dimensional ones along the circumferential direction. The numerical results for four example problems are given and compared with their analytical solutions to demonstrate the accuracy of the present formulation.
