Abstract :
Cellosorbents, the materials prepared by the inclusion of ion exchanger microparticles in a cellulose matrix, were used to improve sorption kinetics of biologically active substances. Kinetics of sorption on those sorbents is influenced by the size of cellulose grains and ion exchanger microparticles and by the molecular mass of protein. The most important point is that the composite form of a sorbent allows us to carry on the desorption process of a target component under more soft conditions than in the case of granular form of a sorbent.
