Biodegradable film: 6. Modification of the film for control release of insecticides

The starch based biodegradable film has been suitably modified for the use of a control release device of insecticide, endosulfan. The endosulfan was encapsulated into starch present in the biodegradable film by simple physical absorption technique, which was confirmed by IR and SEM analysis. The control release activity of this insecticide from the biodegradable film was studied for two months.
