Abstract
This paper addresses the master–slave synchronization of nonlinear chaotic systems in the framework of dissipativity, in which the transmission-induced delay, data packet dropout and measurement quantization have been taken into consideration. By using the Lyapunov–Krasovskii approach and the free weighting matrix technique, a dissipative synchronization criterion is first obtained and formulated in the form of a linear matrix inequality (LMI). Based on this synchronization criterion, a procedure is proposed for designing the dissipative quantized state-feedback controller. The Chua’s circuit is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
