Abstract :
The aim of this research is comparing social skills and reading literacy
achievement in male and female primary students that have passed primary
level normally or in or those students never passed this level. Therefore 120
male and female students were selected by multi stages random sampling
method. For measuring hypothesizes, social skills questionnaire (Elliot and
Gersham, 1990) teacher form and also reading literacy achievement test (
Karami& Moradi, 2008) were selected. The results have shown that in the case
of social skill there was not any difference between three studied groups and
also they had not variables of sexuality and interaction group and male students
had more social skill. About reading literacy, Maktab Al Quran group had the
most achievement of reading literacy and also Maktab Al Quran and
interaction groups had this achievement, it means that rate of eading literacy
among Maktab Al Quran male and female students which studied in Maktab Al
Quran and preschool significantly was higher than those male and female
students which didnʹt went to preschool and female students had more reading
literacy.
