Abstract :
The aim of present study was the investigation of executive functions of frontal lobe in children with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder compared with normal children. Statistical population of research consisted students with ADHD and normal students of the Karaj City in 2013. Samples included 60 students (30 students with ADHD and 30 normal students). To data collect were used four tools including Bender-Gestalt Test, Stroop Test, Wisconsin Card Sorting Test and Similarities subtest Wechsler Test. Data analyzed with multi-way ANOVA method via SPSS software. Results showed that there is a significant difference between ADHD children and normal children in frontal lobe functions. So that perseveration error in children with ADHD was more than normal children. But selective attention, ability to shift attention and abstract thinking of normal children was higher than ADHD children.
