Prediction of Students’ Happiness Based on the Components of their Socioeconomic Status

The research purpose is to carry out an investigation into the prediction of students’ happiness based on the components of their socioeconomic status; therefore, our sample comprised 200 individuals who were selected through multi-stage cluster sampling and simple random sampling from among all the high school female students of Roudehen city. The research tools included Oxford Happiness Inventory and Babayi Socioeconomic Status Inventory. The acquired data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and t-test. Results indicated that the students’ happiness can positively predict their socioeconomic status.
