Convection thermomagnétique dans une cavité différentiellement chauffée

We present a numerical study of the thermomagnetic convection in a differentially heated square cavity for a Rayleigh numbers ranging from 103 to 105. It is shown that a great modification of the flow pattern occurs when the maximum value of the magnetic field is beyond a critical one.
