MECHANOCHEMISTRY IN HETEROGENEOUS CATALYSIS

Heterogeneous-catalytic reactions on solid-phase catalysts activated by mechanical treatment are discussed. Attention is mainly focused on investigations into the nature of the active centers of the catalysts – nonequilibrium states – formed by mechanical activation of the solids.
