Loess ravines in the agricultural space on eastern part of Sandomierz Upland

Biodiversity is the diversity of life on all levels of its organization. It is the diversity of life forms present on Earth. Biodiversity and our environment are continuously, due to technological advances, being transformed. The aim of this study was to assess the biodiversity of selected loess ravine complexes of the eastern part the Sandomierz Upland areas used for agriculture. Harmful ravines erosion is limited by vegetation found in the area of ravines and in the immediate vicinity. In addition, in the areas which are not used by agriculture, this vegetation, together with the animals, are an important support for biodiversity. It is necessary to carry out further studies, analyze the already introduced solutions and look for new effective methods of protecting these specific areas. Landscape planning and thus biodiversity of this landscape in the eroded areas should be first studied and the proper use of space and the establishment of special administrative bodies should be established
