  • Abstract
    We have established the nature of the species initiating indirect electrochemical reductive degradation of polycarbonates in dimethylformamide solutions. Such compounds include two types of nucleophiles: hydroxide ions, and also their complexes with dimethylformamide. We have shown that it is possible to use indirect electrochemical reductive degradation for surface and bulk modification of polycarbonates.
