Taking a wider view of trade marks and the TMview database

This short communication reviews the resources available to retrieve information on trade marks, largely from a European perspective. It concentrates on the TMview database provided by OHIM in cooperation with other EU offices. TMview currently covers 11 national databases, 2 regional authorities (OHIM and Benelux) and WIPO (eg their Madrid international applications). It also provides pointers toward further enhancements and uses of TMview.
