Abstract :
شاخص وينر برابر مجموع فواصل بين هر دو راس در يك گراف همبند است. در اين مقاله، روابط دقيقي براي مقدار شاخص وينر در سه نوع از زنجير هاي پنج تايي تصادفي به دست آمده است.

Abstract :
The Wiener index is the sum of distances between all pairs of vertices in a connected graph.
In this paper, explicit expressions for the expected value of the Wiener index of three types of
random pentagonal chains (cf. Fig. 1) are obtained.
