Abstract :
Gadolinium (Gd) solubility in magnesium (Mg) matrix and precipitate composition in Mg-Gd binary alloys were investigated. The alloys containing different Gd contents (10 wt.%-35 wt.%) were employed to identify Gd solubility after annealing at different temperatures.
