Abstract :
The nonlinear exciton equations combined with the doorway–window formalism were used to calculate the pump–probe signal in the extended nanostar. The results are compared to previous time resolved fluorescence calculations. In addition to the signatures of single-exciton energy funneling from the periphery towards the center, the pump–probe signal also carries useful information about two exciton states.
