Spectroscopic properties of a novel near-infrared tunable laser material image

An intense emission band from image in image spinel in the range of image was observed at room temperature. The emission band could be assigned to the downward image transition of image of image ions in octahedral sites. The lifetime of the emission was more than 1.6 ms from 5 to 300 K. This material has potential as a near-infrared tunable-laser host.
