Abstract
The paper describes an improved version of a graphical procedure, early applied to the point-to-plane geometry, to give physical interpretation to the Warburg law and to those minute features which are disregarded by such an empirical formula. Specifically, the central dimple and the final cut-off, often observed on the fine structure of current distributions at the plane, are theoretically treated and discussed. Some usual physical misinterpretations are revised and useful theoretical advices, for a successful use of Deutsch hypothesis-based treatments, are given. The adopted assumptions are substantially the result of methodic laboratory tests, some of which published in advance, which have been carried out by the authors under partialized-corona conditions.
