Abstract :
Nanocrystalline powder with particle size 50 nm and thin film with thickness 2 μm of SrBi2Ta2O9 (SBT) were successfully prepared by the sol–gel method, using strontium acetate semihydrate [Sr(CH3COO)2·1/2H2O] and bismth subnitrate [BiO(NO3)], and tantalum ethoxide [Ta(OCH2CH3)5] as source materials, glacial acetic and ethylene glycol as solvents. The XRD and TEM results indicated that SBT layer-perovskite phase powder obtained has to be single phase, Pt layer had a (100) predominate orientation, and the (115), (200) of SBT thin film formed after being annealed at 800 °C for 1 min. The typical hysteresis loop of SBT thin film on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si was obtained, and the measured Pr and Ps values of the SBT thin film were 5.5 and 8.8 μC/cm2, respectively.
