Abstract
2×64 focal plane linear array for room temperature infrared imaging detection using composite ferroelectric thin film has been successfully prepared by sol–gel process. Structure and preparation of the linear array detectors are presented. The size of the sensing element of the array is 80 μm×80 μm with a pitch of 100 μm. The normalized detectivity of the sensing element is about 1×108 cm Hz1/2/W which is close to the requirement of practical application.
