Abstract :
LiMnPO4 materials were synthesized via a polyol process and coated with conductive carbon black by using high-energy milling. We introduced two kind of synthesis process of LiMnPO4/C according to carbon addition steps, which was carried out during high-energy milling or polyol process. The carbon addition during the polyol process followed by high-energy milling enabled carbon to be network with LiMnPO4 particles and delivered an enhanced electrochemical rate capability. The result indicated that LiMnPO4 particles were well coated with the conductive carbon.
