The Relationship between Components of Spiritual Leadership and Mental Health of Students of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran

The present research was conducted with the aim of exposition of the relationship between components of spiritual leadership and its component (Vision, Altruistic Love, Hope / Faith in Work, Meaningful Work, Membership in Organization, Organizational Commitment, Performance Feedback and mental health of students of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research branch . The study was descriptive-correlation in terms of data collection and it was applied in terms of aim. The study population was all students studying at the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch as 23713 people. The sample size was determined based on Morgan table as 377people and the samples were selected through multistage cluster by proportional stratified sampling. The data collection measure was two standard questionnaires of Spiritual Leadership (28 item) and questionnaire (20-item) at 5-item Likert scale. Reliability of the Spiritual Leadership questionnaire was 0.91 and was 0.73 for Mental Health using Cronbachʹs alpha. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and regression Results revealed that there was significant relationship between Spiritual Leadership and Mental Health, vision had the major role in predicting mental health of students.
