Abstract :
The objective of this research is to study the relationship between manager’s development of Urumieh University and their Philosophical mindset with organizational effectiveness. Therefore, statistical sample of this research has been considered as census including all managers of Urumieh University which were 70 people. In this research, the measurement tool is questionnaire that for measuring the manager’s development and organizational effectiveness, questionnaire of Farahi Bouzanjani was used and for evaluating the managers’ philosophical mindset, questionnaire of philosophical mindset which was determined by Iraj Soltani was used and the questionnaires’ reliability was calculated by Cronbach Alpha method. The results of Pearson correlation coeeficient hasn’t shown a significant relationship between there components of knowledge, skill and ability with the organizational effectiveness. Whereas, a significant relationship was seen between the said components with each other using Pearson correlation coefficient and a linear relationship between them using multiple-regression test. The results of t-test haven’t also shown any significant difference between views of the managers surrounding aspects and components of the manager’s development. Moreover, there is a positive significant relationship between the philosophical mindset and organizational effectiveness and there is a positive relationship between components of comprehensiveness, cogitation and flexibility with organizational effectiveness.
