Abstract
We investigated a novel strategy for flash-synthesis fabrication of ZnO nanoarrays and devices. The demonstrated needle-shaped nanobelts have a width of 150 nm and a length of up to 5 μm. Along with different patterns, various device arrays can be obtained simultaneously, which give more functional options due to different patterns. During the fabrication, a self-catalytic process took place without introducing any impurities into the system. Based on liquid transformation theory, a physical model of such process has been investigated. The effects of reaction conditions due to defect mechanism and defect concentration have been investigated by the photoluminescence (PL) analysis system.
