Abstract
This paper demonstrates that Chlorophyll fluorescence in vivo is not always a true indicator of plant cold hardiness. In this experiment, frost resistance and chlorophyll fluorescence of needles of Scots pine seedlings were followed under natural and controlled phytotron conditions during the most active cold hardening period.
