Abstract
Li-modified polycrystalline samples of La-modified PZT (PLZT), Pb0.91(La1−z/3Liz)0.09(Zr0.65Ti0.35)0.9775O3 with z=0.5 and 0.7 were synthesised through a sol–gel route. The gels were dried and calcined at different temperatures. The formation of a single phase compound was confirmed by X-ray diffraction studies. The cold pressed pellets of the mixed compounds were sintered at different temperatures. The effect of sintering on the dielectric properties of the Li-modified compound has been reported here.
