Abstract :
We solve the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation in the continuum limit for a single vortex in f-wave superconductors. In contrast to the case of p-wave superconductors we find a very extended central peak in the local density of states around the vortex and near E=0. Also the spatial extension of a vortex depends subtly but visibly on the chirality of the vortex.
