Abstract :
The dielectric function of MnIn2S4 single crystals grown by the directional crystallization method was measured over the energy range 0.7–4.7 eV at room temperature using variable angle spectroscopic ellipsometry. The spectral dependence of the real and imaginary parts of the complex dielectric function as well as of the refractive index, extinction and absorption coefficients and the normal-incidence reflectivity for MnIn2S4 in the photon energy range studied was determined.
