Abstract
In the presence of Bun4NBr acting as a phase-transfer reagent, organophosphoryl derivatives of tungstophosphate of formula [α2-R2P2W17O61]6− (R=C6H11P(O) (1); C6H5P(O) (2); C6H11P(S) (3); C6H5P(S) (4)) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 31P and 183W NMR spectroscopy. The nine-line 183W spectrum indicates the hybrid anion possesses Cs symmetry in CH3CN–CD3CN.
