Abstract :
A pair of nonporous enantiomers [Cu(H2O)(bpy)(l-DBTA)]·H2O (L-1) and [Cu(H2O)(bpy)(D-DBTA)]·H2O (D-1) (l-DBTA = (-)-dibenzoyl-l-tartaric acid, d-DBTA = (+)-dibenzoyl-d-tartaric acid, bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) with interdigitated architecture possess excellent enantioselective recognition and electrocatalysis ability towards l- and/or d-tart.
