Abstract :
A novel 3D polymeric complex, [Ag(chdc)0.5]n (1), (H2chdc = 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate acid), was synthesized by self-assembly reaction of H2chdc with Ag(I) ions. The most interesting characteristic of 1 is that the distribution of Ag(I) ions in the crystal is similar to the carbon atoms in a layer of graphite.
