Abstract :
Increased electron deficiency of MnIIMnIII2 core by trichloroacetate in [Mn3O(O2CCCl3)6(H2O)3] leads to formation of a reductive coupled MnII4MnIII2 mixed-valent hexanuclear cluster [Mn6O2(O2CCCl3)10(H2O)3(HOCH2C6H5)] · 2CH3C6H5 in toluene.
