Synthesis, crystal structures and magnetic properties of one- and two-dimensional copper(II) complexes bridged by succinate

Depending on the different ligand ratios used, reaction of CuAc2 · 2H2O with 2-pyridinemethanol and succinate results in the formation of two coordination polymers: an antiferromagnetic coupled 1D dimer chain and a ferromagnetic coupled 2D 4,82 network.
