Abstract :
A novel 2D polymer, {[Fe(4,4′-bipy)(dca)2] · bt}, (dca=dicyanamide, 4,4′-bipy=4,4′-bipyridine and bt=2,2′-bithiazoline) has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structure reveals the formation of 2D (4,4) networks and intercalated bt uncoordinated ligands.
