Abstract :
A novel three dimensional (3D) polymer, [Co2(hypa)2(4,4′-bipy)] (1) (H2hypa = hydroxy-phenyl-acetic acid, 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine), featuring pentacoordinate, dimeric cobalt(II) as subunits have been prepared, which shows low-dimensional antiferromagnetic ordering blow 15.2 K (TN).
