A novel structure of silver polymer through Na–O bonds with cytotoxicity property

The reaction of Ag2O and sulfamic acid in a 30% ammonia and 4% NaOH solution results in a silver(I) polymer, {Na[Ag(NH2SO3)2]}n. The X-ray crystal structure analysis indicates that the title complex is a silver polymer through Na–O bonds forming a 3D framework. And the complex shows high cytotoxicity property to normal cells and carcinoma cells.
