Abstract :
A novel metal-organic material, {[In2(btc)2(2,2′-bpy)2] · 4H2O}n (1) (H3btc = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid; 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine), with the one-dimensional double stranded chain framework has been prepared under hydrothermal condition and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The structure of polymer 1 is also characteristic of neutral independent rectangular tunnels decorated with 2,2′-bipy molecules. The emission spectrum, IR spectrum and thermogravimetric analysis of 1 are reported.
