Abstract :
Three cadmium(II) coordination polymers formed from pyim [pyim = N-(4-pyridylmethyl)imidazole], namely 24[Cd(pyim)2X2]n (Xdouble bond; length as m-dashCl, 1; Br, 2; I, 3), have been synthesized and characterized by IR, and fluorescence spectroscopy as well as TG analysis.
