Abstract :
Manganese isophthalate [Mn(ip)]n double-chains are deliberately combined by axial connector (E)-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (dpe) to construct a non-interpenetrated 2D bilayer framework which possesses large rectangular channels to trap dpe and H2O molecules.
