Abstract :
By changing the pH value, the macrocyclic complex monomer [CuL(H2O)2] · 6H2O, 1 · 6H2O, (L = 3,10-bis(2-butyrate)-1,3,5,8,10,12-hexaazacyclo-tetradecane) and its 2D sheet {[CuH2L](ClO4)2}n, 2, can be reversibly converted.
