Abstract :
The single crystal X-ray analysis of a novel mixed-anion zinc (II) coordination polymer shows that the complex is a two-dimensional polymer as a result of bridging “bpe” ligands, with the basic repeating [{Zn(μ2-OAc)2Zn}(μ-bpe)3](ClO4)2 units and by connecting the acetate-bridged centrosymmetric {Zn2(OAc)2}2+ nodes.
