Abstract :
A new pseudo Keggin-type polyvanadate image (1) has been synthesized under hydrothermal condition. The polyoxoanion [H12V13O40]4− of 1 exhibits a classical α-Keggin-type structure, which consists of 12 {VO6} octahedra and a central {VO4} tetrahedron. It is the first pseudo Keggin-type polyvanadate species with mixed VIV/VV metal centers structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction hitherto.
