Abstract :
A new mixed-valence vanadium phosphate [(C6H16N2)3(VO)(V2O4)2(PO4)4 · 2H2O] with novel 7-numbered rings has been hydrothermally synthesized. Single-crystal X-ray analysis shows that layered compound I consists of two kinds of 1-D chain. The alternate linkages of the two chains form a novel 3, 6, 7-net.
