Copper and cadmium coordination polymers of di-3-pyridinylmethanone: Subtle anion effect on the dimensionality of Cd(II) frameworks

Syntheses and characterization of two pairs of Cu(II) and Cd(II) coordination polymers with di-3-pyridinylmethanone revealed that variation the counter anion from image to image does not change the structures of Cu(II) complexes, but it lowers the dimensionality of the Cd(II) framework.
