Abstract :
A new Zn(II) coordination polymer, [Zn(BTA)2]n (1) (BTAH = benzotriazole) has been hydrothermal synthesized and characterized. The structure of complex 1 features a distorted two-dimensional (2D) (6,3) network and exhibits strong blue fluorescent emission at 580 nm.
