Abstract
Copper(I) coordination polymer [Cu3I3L]n (1) has been synthesized by the reaction of CuI and 1,4-bis((cyclohexylthio)acetyl)piperazine (L). Structural and photophysical studies of 1 in solid state are reported. The bonding of Cu3I3 produces staircase polymers interconnected by the sulfur atoms of L.
