Abstract :
A new supramolecular complex [Cs(DB24C8)][CuBr2] (1) (DB24C8 = Dibenzo-24-Crown-8) has been prepared, characterized and structurally investigated. The structure of complex 1 features a two-dimensional (2D) (4,4) network in the ac plane based on C–H⋯π interactions and the dimensionality is further increased to 3D by Cs⋯Br weak interactions.
