Abstract :
The complex [Ru(2)2][PF6]2 where 2 is 4′-(4-methylthiophenyl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine is the first example of a coordination compound of this ligand, and provides structural information relevant to understanding the interaction of self-assembled monolayers of related ligands with metal ions.
