Abstract
A novel dmso-coordinated heteropolytungstate [Sb2W20(OH)2(dmso)2O66]8− (1) has been successfully isolated as [Ru(bpy)3]2+ salts by routine synthetic reaction in mixed solutions with dmso and water. The compound was characterized by spectroscopic methods as well as by X-ray single crystal structure analysis. The compound represents a tungstoantimonate framework with two W–O–S(CH3)2 bonds.
