Abstract :
A novel coordination polymer [Zn2(dbi)(m-BDC)2]n (1), where dbi = 1,1′-(1,10-decanediyl)bis(imidazole) and m-BDC = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylate anion, has been isolated under hydrothermal condition and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound 1 displays a 3-fold interpenetrated α-polonium-type network, which is built from bimetallic cores as six-connected nodes. Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and luminescent property for 1 are discussed in detail.
