Abstract :
Theoretical calculations (density functional theory and ab initio (MP2)) and nuclear magnetic resonance experiments reveal a new metal-oxygen-bridged isomeric form for antimony(III)-l-tartrate that co-exists in solution and in the gas phase with its crystallographically-determined structure.
